The batting Triple Crown is one of the rarest accomplishments for a hitter in baseball. A player wins it when they lead their league (AL or NL) in all three of these major offensive categories in the same season: 1️⃣ Batting Average: best at getting hits 2️⃣ Home Runs: most power 3️⃣ Runs Batted In (RBIs): most run production 📌 How rare is it? Only 17 players have ever won a Triple Crown in MLB history. The most recent was Miguel Cabrera in 2012, the first since 1967.
